 For Evangelism Week Three, we offer some movies titles that can help you share your faith with others. The list appears below, but first permit us to offer a lists of steps that can help.

How To Share:

  1. Consider who you wish to focus on and think about their current situation that challenges them. Pray for God to move in their lives.
  2. Watch the movie you intend to share and consider how this movie can help.
  3. Contact the people and ask if they will join you for a quick meal and the movie that inspired you.
  4. Dine while watching the movie with them.
  5. At end of the movie, invite their reaction. Ask if they see anything related to their lives. Tell them how your faith has helped you address similar challenges.
  6. Invite them to join you at church the following Sunday. Introduce them to a few people who may have similarities. Introduce the person(s) to your pastor.
  7. Follow-up by asking if there is anything you can do to help. Offer to watch another movie together.

  • “Fireproof” starring Danielle Brooks, Kirk Cameron, Erin Bethea 2008 PG; This gripping story follows one man's desire to transform his life and marriage through the healing power of faith and fully embrace the fireman's code: Never Leave Your Partner.
  • “Courageous” starring Alex Kendrick, Ken Bevel, Kevin Downes 2011 PG-13; action-packed drama that will have families laughing and cheering as inspiring everyday heroes strive to be fathers of courage.
  • “Overcomer” starring Alex Kendrick Priscilla C. Shirer, Shari Rigby 2019 PG; Filled with a powerful mix of faith, a twist of humor, and a ton of heart, the creators of WAR ROOM return with a new inspiring film, OVERCOMER. About girl receiving Christ and renewing her connection with her dad.
  • “30 Day Promise” starring Todd Anthony Manaigo and Kimberly Anne Parker 2017 13+; a wife establishes a change in direction for her family, by coming up with an unusual plan to save her marriage and re-establish a relationship with God in her family.
  • “God’s Not Dead” starring Kevin Sorbo, Shane Harper, David White 2014 PG; An atheist philosophy professor challenges one of his students to defend his faith and prove to the class that God exists.
  • “God’s Not Dead 2” starring Melissa Joan Hart, Jesse Metcalfe, David A.R. White 2016 PG; When a teacher is asked about Jesus in class, her response lands her in deep trouble and could expel God from the public square forever.
  • “The Passion” starring Jim Caviezel, Monica Bellucci, Maia Morgenstern 2004 R because of violence; Depicts the final twelve hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem.
